As you enter Natural Falls State Park, the first thing that strikes you is the soothing symphony of nature – the gentle rustle of leaves, the melodious songs of birds, and the distant murmur of cascading water. It’s an immediate immersion into tranquility that sets the tone for an unforgettable adventure.
Nice park. The lady in the welcome center was super friendly. The falls itself are easy to get to with a cement path and stairs leading the way. It also had a nice trail to get different angles and see more of the park. Beautiful pond just past the falls as well. The campgrounds looked nice, and they have yurts if that’s your style. I did not stay the night so don’t know the price but parking is ten dollars. I will probably come back here for the night on a future road trip.

This place is absolutely amazing! And such a short drive from NWA. If you haven’t been, it is a must see! Easy hikes, and just stunning.

Picture waking up to the sounds of nature, with the falls as your backdrop – it’s a camping experience that transcends the ordinary.

Seasons in Focus: Photography Magic at Natural Falls
Beyond its natural allure, Natural Falls State Park is a haven for photography enthusiasts. The changing seasons paint the landscape in a myriad of colors, offering endless opportunities to capture the beauty of the park. Whether you’re an amateur with a smartphone or a seasoned photographer with professional gear, the park’s vistas are bound to inspire.
I’ve captured a couple of surprise proposals in the park and it is the perfect setting for a photo shoot! The only thing is that it gets darker down there earlier than up by the highway or parking lot so plan accordingly. Sunset photos down by the waterfall should be scheduled 30-60 minutes earlier than what you would think is the best time. Other than that, just an amazing park and I feel lucky to live close to such a wonderful spot.

As the day winds down, consider a picnic at one of the designated areas. The calming ambiance coupled with the sound of water gently cascading down the falls creates the perfect setting for a leisurely meal with friends or family. It’s a moment to savor the simple joys of life amidst nature’s embrace.
We brought in a picnic lunch and ate after the short hike to see the falls and lake.
